                      How To Order

Ready to order? Please read important information below. Most frequently asked questions are answered below.   

                       

             * HOW TO ORDER *

Prices are according to cake flavors.

STEP 1: Choose your cake flavor, select your cake size and cake theme. Prices are below the cake flavors. 

STEP 2: Email your order to cottonsgourmet@yahoo.com .

STEP 3: Secure your order with a 50% deposit no less than 3 days prior to order due date.

(For example: Saturday order pick ups, deposits due on Tuesday. Friday order pick ups, deposits due on Monday.)

STEP 4: That's it. The remaining 50% payment is due at time of pick up/delivery.

 

LAST MINUTE ORDERS(less than 24 hours prior to order date): Every effort will be made to accommodate last minute orders. With respect to orders placed prior to the 3-day-lead-request, there is no guarantee that orders will be filled if ordering less than 24 hours prior to order pick up date. Cash or money orders are due when placing last minute orders to secure your order.  Deposits not received as stated are subject to order cancellation.

 

MAILING ADDRESS:  Send deposits to: Cotton's Gourmet G&C, 7744 Emerson Road, Hyattsville, MD 20784. The remaining balance is due at time of pick up/delivery.

 

PAYMENT: Checks/Credit Cards are NOT acceptable forms of final payment for orders picked up/delivered. VISA, MC, Discover, AM. $2 fee for credit card payments. Credit cards are taken over the phone only. Invoices are emailed to you. 

                      

DELIVERY:

The delivery fee is $20 - $30 within the DC Metro area and available Mon-Fri between 8am-1pm. For a safe arrival, especially with tiered cakes, delivery is recommended.

ORDER PICK-UPS:

When picking up your order, cakes are placed securely in your vehicle to help you with a safe delivery. Please drive S-L-O-W-L-Y to your destination. After your departure, Cotton's Gourmet G&C is not liable for any cake damages you may incur on the road.

We are delighted to schedule appointments at your convenience.  However, you MUST have an appointment in order to be served. With respect to other clients with scheduled appointments, 'pop up visits' or unannounced visitors will not be seen.(especially outside of business hours). TARDINESS: If you are going to be late, please give a courtesy phone call. A 15-minute grace period is given when arriving late. Otherwise, your appointment will be rescheduled.

Client meetings and deliveries may limit our contact with clients so not all calls are received initially. 

Please allow us the opportunity to return your call by leaving a detailed  voice message at (202) 609-2013. Your call will be acknowledged once a voice mail is left.   

   

    * CAKE INFO *

All baked goods are lovingly made fresh from scratch with 100% all-natural ingredients. No preservatives, additives or mixes are used. Cakes are made 24 hours prior to order date.

Cake flavors are created with the most delectable pairing of fillings and buttercreams. We are happy to accommodate special requests for alternate cake flavor combinations.
